Nike and UNION LA collaborate to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Cortez, redesigning the model to represent the cultural diversity of Los Angeles. Subtle, yet striking details such as woven inserts, thick suede reinforcements and a rubber toe pay homage to the dynamic people of Los Angeles and the deep connection between this model and the city. The Crater foam midsole and Nike Grind outsole, composed of at least 10% Nike Grind, bring a modern touch for the new generation, while the shoe's design recalls the premier model from 1972.
