Karhu, the sneaker brand from Finland
Karhu was founded in 1916 as a Finnish brand known at the time as Ab Sport Artiklar. Specialising in the manufacture of shoes for men and women, it was not until 1920 that the name Karhu (meaning "Bear" in Finnish) and the bear logo were used.
At that time, the brand manufactured discs and javelins for professional athletes. In 1920, the brand was even the official equipment of the "Flying Finns" at the Summer Olympics.
Even today, the brand is recognizable among many others with the strong symbol of the bear.
Karhu offers today a wide range of lifestyle shoes that are very popular with sneaker addicts. The best-selling trainer is the Fusion 2.0
Karhu Fusion 2.0 sneakers
This is the flagship model of the Karhu brand. The Karhu Fusion 2.0 trainer is the upgraded version of the iconic Fusion shoes. One of the most popular pairs for running in 1996.
To revive this silhouette, they called on the original designer and created shoes with the latest technology and distinctive rope laces.
The look is modern, lifestyle and street. The materials used are always premium, with the use of suede, pigskin, smooth leather and mesh. The 4 plastic straps with bands on the sides offer an original and neat design. For a casual look in everyday life, adopt the Fusion 2.0 sneakers by Karhu.
