Adidas shoes: timeless trainers that are always true to the values of the German brand
The adidas Originals men's trainers are perfect for all seasons thanks to their trendy colours, suede or nubuck inserts. The low-top trainers offer a casual, sportswear look, and the adidas high-top sneakers offer a more casual chic look.

Adidas is a brand that has been around for generations.

The brand with the three stripes was started in Germany in 1949 by its founder Adolf Dassler. The brand got its name from there, "Adi" for Adolf, his nickname, and "Das" for Dassler. The German brand soon specialised in the production of sports equipment. It found itself in competition with the company of Adolf's older brother, Rudolf Dassler, who founded Puma in 1948.

Adidas was dedicated to producing performance-oriented products, and would expand with the athletes of the time. Over time, they followed the fashion and developed more sportswear ranges. We've all known a family member with a jacket, a pair of jogging pants, a pair of old school adidas trainers, which today would be trendy!

Adidas, the perfect trainers for all occasions!

Whether you want to find a pair of sports shoes, a more urban pair with a streetwear look, a sober and basic pair or a more original and daring one, the Adidas Originals brand will always have a model to satisfy you! And that's the strength of Adidas, taking advantage of their experience and history to develop and revisit sneakers to meet new trends.

Today, for a sober style, you can choose white trainers (like the Adidas Stan Smith, Adidas Superstar), for a more sporty style (the Adidas ZX Flux) or a more fashionable and ultra trendy trainer (like the Adidas Yeezy), everything is available in the Adidas Originals catalogue.

Adidas shoes, from the archives to today's bestsellers

Many Adidas sneakers come straight from the German brand's archives. The Stan Smith is proof of this, first released as a tennis shoe in 1964, first bearing the name of its French designer Robert Haillet, then in the 1970s taking the name of tennis player Stan Smith. In 2013, Adidas will re-launch the production of its unisex model and make it a real bestseller!

This pattern can be found in the Superstar, famous for its rubber front, which creates a very trendy two-material model and allows us to play on this two-material aspect.

The adidas Gazelle shoe from the 90's, with its slim line and available in a multitude of colours (black, grey, beige, pastel), it will match with slim-fit jeans or more strict cut trousers such as a chino for an urban and casual style.

The adidas Continental 80 trainer, originally designed for indoor sports, with an outsole made for indoor surfaces, shows us since its return that the retro style of the pair is very trendy and available in different colours.

The adidas Falcon model is more aimed at the brand's female audience. The Falcon takes its design from a 1996 running shoe. In addition to keeping the original design, it also retains the running sole, making this iconic trainer very comfortable. With its curved lines and lifestyle style, it will be the perfect companion to your outfits, and will easily find its place in your wardrobe.

The Yung series, also based on the Falcon retro-running trainer of the 90s, brings us a trendy model with a thick sole giving volume to the sneaker and offering again a comfort to all tests.

So many Adidas trainer models that have become real bestsellers!

Adidas' new strengths in trainer design

As explained above, Adidas uses its archives and development skills to bring old models back into fashion. But we are seeing more and more collaborations between the brand with three stripes and celebrities (Pharrell Williams with the HU, Kanye West with the Yeezy, or even more recently with the Ninja E-sportsman). The German brand adidas does not only collaborate with celebrities, but also with world-famous companies, recently it was the turn of the Stan Smith to have the famous Disney character "Mickey" added to its smooth white leather. Or the Continental 80 and the Super Court which for the collaboration with Arizona have seen their laces become the colour of the brand of iced tea as well as the appearance of the Arizona logo on the Adidas shoe.

Adidas manages to be a brand of the past, present and future. The German brand never lets itself be outdated and always tries to be up to date.
