The EX89 sneaker is inspired by the 1989 GEL-EXTREME basketball shoe, with modern cushioning properties.it was created by Toshikazu Kayano in the late 1980s. It was his premier design project with ASICS. The structure laminated leather upper is also paired with bright colors that match the iconic uniforms of NBA teams at the time. We've enhanced the cushioning system with our FF BLAST technology. The sculpted heel shape enhances underfoot comfort on a daily basis.The outsole pattern is designed to reflect the view of a city from the sky.
