The founder of Fabelab, Michaela Weisskirchner-Barfod, adopted Scandinavian design principles and was inspired by her two young daughters, who are always looking for toys that are both useful and imaginative. Since the brand was created in 2013, Michaela has worked hard to maintain a sustainable approach for every product made. The products we create are made from sustainable textiles sourced from our supplier in India. Because being sustainable is something we truly fight for. For Fabelab, sustainable design means using the right materials and ensuring a long lifespan for the products. Day by day, we are always thinking about the changes we can make to become even more sustainable.
