"Slim-fit jeans with a mid waist and tapered leg. Crafted from 13.9 oz organic stretch denim and crafted by Europe's well esteemed Candiani Mills in Italy. Nestled in the western part of Lombardy, amidst the vibrancy of Milan and the scenic vineyards of Piemonte, Candiani draws inspiration from its rich surroundings. From this dynamic environment emerges the Dry Ohm Selvage - a timeless piece that promises rewards of magnificent, sharp blue tones through fades. The 13.9 oz denim is woven on vintage Ruti shuttle looms by Candiani, and is initially plain and uniform with a very smooth surface. This dry fabric has a soft yet sturdy hand that isn't afraid to show its relatively heavy weight. The yarns have been dyed with a sulfur base and topped with the classic deep blue indigo, resulting in an incredibly deep and consistent, rich blue tone. With time and wear, vertical streakiness will emerge as the slubby warp yarns reveal themselves. When properly faded, a striking marbled effect develops, and a greyish undertone appears thanks to the grey cast. With time and wear, white neps interlaced beneath the warp yarns emerge to accentuate the fabric's construction. It's been tightly woven, which further adds to the structure of the jeans. This piece strikes a fine balance between comfort and robust wear, built to reward dedication with a whole spectrum of blue tones and an ever-evolving texture. The navy back pocket embroidery takes a back seat through the early stages of wear, but will gradually reveal itself as fades start to widen the gap between the surrounding hues. This denim features a redline selvedge ID. This piece is built to wear and will only get better with time. We recommend 6 months of hard, everyday wear before the first wash for beautiful, worn-in results, though this is only a recommendation. As long as you give them love, the result will be great.
