La bride supérieure au niveau du cou-de pied peut être rabattue à l’arrière si besoin et garantit ainsi un maintien supplémentaire comme bride de talon. La semelle extérieure est antidérapante et se déroule parfaitement. Elle résiste par ailleurs à l'huile et aux graisses. La semelle intermédiaire est en EVA et amortissante. Grâce à une haute flexibilité et une sécurité maximale, le modèle Kay SL est très apprécié des professions médicales. La semelle antidérapante de ce modèle a été testée et est certifiée conforme à la norme EN ISO 20347:2012.

• Upper material: Birkoflor®. Birko-Flor® is a skin-friendly, tear-resistant and easy-care synthetic material used exclusively by BIRKENSTOCK.
• Insole: Insole. The hypoallergenic, flexible leather insole gently hugs the foot and adapts to its contours. The open-pore surface is particularly thermoactive, keeping feet at a pleasant temperature even during intense physical activity.
• Footbed material: Cork. Cork is a renewable raw material extracted from the bark of the cork oak tree. This natural product is a thermal insulator with excellent cushioning properties.
• Outsole: Non-slip outsole. The anti-slip outsole is made up of two parts: a rubber outsole that resists oil and grease, and a flexible EVA plastic midsole léger that absorbs footsteps.
