The 2003 GEL-1090™ running shoe has been redesigned with a modern twist, while retaining its iconic design details. Inspired by the profile of a motorcycle, this shoe is designed to emphasize the notion of speed.

Re-issued with a simplified upper, this retro racing shoe retains its influential features, such as tiger claw marks on the toe overlays and heel counter.

Similar to the movement of a waving checkered flag, sweep lines appear along the midsole, while the heel is covered with GEL™ cushioning for added comfort.

Reinventing the heritage of the GT-1000™ series, the GEL-1090™ racing shoe returns with its original racing performance, while rearranging its functionality with improved comfort and cushioning.
