PPS stands for Preflight Planning System and Patches, Prints and Seams, which means it's a fashionable update of an original, iconic Alpha style. In this case, the N3B jacket is transformed. While the original is an authentic military garment, it has become very popular beyond the confines of the military. Alpha still offers the original N3B; however, if you're looking for a more contemporary parka that retains the functionality and comfort of the original military chic, the PPS version might be the one for you. While retaining the technical features of the original N3B, the N3B PPS is all about contrast: the natural coloured Sheepskin and hood straps contrast sharply with the base colour of the jacket, and the hood has contrast stitching all over the outside. In addition, the PPS version of the N3B features an embroidered patch on the right sleeve and a flight label plus pencil box on the left sleeve.
