The EDR 78™ model was originally released in 1978 as a unique style. The hallmark of this shoe is an extended rugged tread in the forefoot and heel. Ortholite in the sock liner relieves tension and the foot arch cookie gives added cushioning. A year later, the shoe was released overseas, and was the brand's first trail running shoe.
