Slim leg openingOrganic comfort stretch denim tapered leg jeans. These jeans are made from 13.5 oz Turkish denim with light diagonal serpentine lines, a slight warp yarn blur, and a deep, dark indigo hue. When the denim is exposed to abrasion, it has a flat surface with clear twill lines. On the other hand, the unabraded areas will wrinkle and result in a grainy, salt and pepper surface. This contrast between surface structures is one of the greatest characteristics of the fabric, as it allows for wear marks with rich variation. The indigo fades to a blue hue with a slight green-yellow sheen. Because of the dark indigo hue and the structure of the denim, wear and wash will bring out the wear marks that contrast with the dark indigo deposits.As with any dry denim, we recommend at least 6 months of daily wear before premier washing. Of course, this is only a recommendation. Washing earlier and more frequently also produces excellent results, but be sure to hand wash or use a gentle machine wash cycle. As long as you take care of your jeans, they will in turn reward you with an evolving patina that may just give you the best washed jeans of your life.
